Warehouse Specialist (Must have DOD Clearance)
The Warehouse Specialist provides logistics and warehouse support services in a government environment. This position performs routine to moderately complex tasks associated with property accountability, inventory control, and material movement in support of U.S. Navy systems.
Property Accountability Support
- Perform property accountability actions in accordance with NAVSUP P-723 and NAVSUP P-485 procedures.
- Process material receipts, transfers, and excess actions within approved systems.
- Generate and maintain required documentation, including receiving reports and transaction records.
- Support inventory validation efforts by identifying and reporting discrepancies between physical assets and system records.
Inventory and Warehouse Operations
- Receive, inspect, label, store, and issue materials in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform physical inventory tasks, including cycle counts and location audits.
- Stage materials and equipment to support operational requirements.
- Maintain proper storage, handling, and preservation of assets in compliance with government and OEM guidance.
Logistics and Material Movement
- Support coordination of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Track material movement and provide status updates to internal stakeholders.
- Assist with delivery of materials using a contract-provided vehicle, as required.
- Support cross-location logistics requirements when directed.
Systems and Data Entry
- Enter and maintain data in government and contractor systems (e.g., CMPRO, CAV-RP, ERP, eRMS, PDREP, One Touch).
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all logistics and inventory records.
- Follow established workflows for processing transactions and updates.
General Support Functions
- Communicate task status and issues to team leads or supervisors.
- Follow all site-specific procedures, safety requirements, and operational guidance.
- Provide general warehouse and logistics support as required to meet mission needs.
Minimum Qualifications (LCAT Requirements)
- U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Clearance
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0–3+ years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory support
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to follow established procedures and work within structured systems
Desired Qualifications (Preferred but Not Required)
- Familiarity with DoD logistics and property accountability systems (CMPRO, CAV-RP, Navy ERP, eRMS)
- Working knowledge of NAVSUP P-723 / P-485 processes
- Experience supporting government or military logistics environments
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout a warehouse environment for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, and climb ladders as needed
