Logistician Analyst/Supply Technician
The Logistician Analyst/Supply Technician provides intermediate-level logistics and supply support within a government environment. This position is responsible for executing and maintaining a defined area of supply and inventory operations, including property accountability, system processing, and material coordination.
Work is performed with minimal supervision, requiring prior experience with Navy logistics systems and property accountability procedures. This role includes functional responsibility for accuracy and execution within an assigned area but does not include formal supervisory duties.
Property Accountability (Primary Functional Area Ownership)
- Execute and maintain government property accountability in accordance with NAVSUP P-723 and NAVSUP P-485.
- Process property transactions including receipts, transfers, and excess actions within approved systems.
- Generate and validate documentation such as Line Item Receiving Reports (LIRRs).
- Perform routine audits and reconciliations to ensure alignment between physical inventory and system records.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies within assigned functional area.
Inventory & Warehouse Operations
- Maintain accurate inventory records using approved systems (e.g., CMPRO, CAV-RP, ERP, eRMS).
- Perform and support cycle counts, location audits, receiving, stowing, staging, and issuing of materials.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, storage, and preservation of all materials in accordance with government and OEM guidance.
- Support warehouse operations while maintaining strict inventory control standards.
Logistics & Material Coordination
- Coordinate material movement, shipments, and deliveries to support project and fleet requirements.
- Track and provide status updates on material flow and logistics activities.
- Assist with delivery of materials using a contract-provided vehicle, as required.
- Coordinate with vendors, transportation providers, and internal teams to resolve logistics issues.
- Support cross-site logistics efforts when required.
Systems & Data Management
- Perform data entry, validation, and maintenance across government systems (CMPRO, CAV-RP, Navy ERP, eRMS, PDREP, One Touch).
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all logistics and inventory data.
- Utilize system workflows to process transactions and support reporting requirements.
Project & Financial Support (Intermediate Level)
- Provide logistics support for projects involving material procurement, repair, and installation activities.
- Assist with tracking material requirements, order status, and delivery timelines.
- Support basic cost tracking and accountability for material purchases and logistics actions.
- Contribute to maintaining alignment between material support and project requirements.
Communication & Team Support
- Provide clear and consistent status updates to team leads and government stakeholders (e.g., NIWC IPT leads).
- Support coordination across multiple functional areas and locations.
- Assist in maintaining continuity of operations within assigned logistics function.
Minimum Qualifications (LCAT Requirements)
- U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply, or warehouse operations
- Demonstrated experience with at least one Navy logistics system (CMPRO, CAV-RP, Navy ERP, eRMS, etc.)
- Working knowledge of property accountability principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to work independently within established processes
Desired Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience with NAVSUP P-723 / P-485 property accountability procedures
- Experience supporting DoD or Navy logistics operations
- Familiarity with financial tracking related to logistics or material procurement
- Experience supporting electronic/electrical system repair or installation logistics
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout a warehouse environment for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, and climb ladders as needed
